Remove your data, three ways.

We respect your right to erasure under GDPR Article 17. Pick whichever method fits.

What we may have stored

If you've interacted with our Instagram bot, we may hold:

• Your Instagram User ID (numeric)
• Your Instagram username
• First and last name (only if publicly visible)
• Content of DMs and comments you sent us
• Email address (only if you actively provided one)
• Tags and custom fields our system has assigned to you

Option 1 — DM (fastest)

Send our Instagram account a direct message with exactly this text:

DELETE MY DATA

Our system processes the request automatically within 24 hours. You receive a confirmation DM once deletion is complete.

Option 2 — Email

Write to info@video-library-of-alexandria.com with:

• Subject: Data Deletion Request
• Body: Your Instagram username

We confirm deletion within 7 days.

Option 3 — Through Meta

You can de-authorize our app directly from Instagram:

1. Open Instagram app
2. Profile → Menu → Settings
3. Apps and Websites → Active
4. Library of Alexandria → Remove

Meta notifies us automatically and we delete your data within 30 days.

What happens after deletion

• All your data in our database is irreversibly deleted
• We can no longer send you any bot messages
• Backups are purged within the rotation window (30 days)
• You receive confirmation by DM or email, depending on the request channel

What we can't delete

• Anonymized aggregate statistics (e.g., "X users per day")
• Records required for legal retention (invoices, etc.) — only applies if you made a purchase
• Data that Meta itself holds about you — for that, contact Meta directly
